The Celebrate With Tags Bundle is my go-to for two of the cards.  This bundle is not retiring - yay! You will want to pick it up for your stash.

The first fun fold also features the Sweet Songbird Bundle from the Annual Catalog - an adorable stamp set and punch.  I created a red winter Songbird using Sweet Sorbet cardstock for the little bird.

Kylie's December 2022 International Blog Hop Challenge

I'm excited to be a part of this challenge offered by Kylie Bertucci.  This group is made up of some very talented stampers that create amazing cards.   You will be able to vote and pick your favorites each month. The top ten winners will get to be part of a blog hop with Kylie Bertucci at the end of the month.

It's winter here in Western New York so I've made a Slimline Thank You Card featuring beautiful snowflakes created with the Wintry 3D embossing folder. The embossed card stock has an ombre look created by using a blending brush across the embossed paper.

Slimline wintry square

I embossed an 8 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic White card stock with the Snowflake Wintry 3D embossing folder. The folder isn't long enough to emboss the whole piece, so I turned it and embossed the other end.

Slimline wintry snowflake embossing

Next step was to add ink to the front.  I started with Pacific Point and using a Blending Brush and added ink to the embossed surface:

Slimline wintry snowflake blending

I then added Pool Party ink to the middle part of the card, and lastly, I used Fresh Freesia ink on the last third of the card.  I love these colors together!

I added drops of glue where I wanted the sequins (Sparkle and Shine Sequins, p. 143 of the Annual Catalog).

Slimline wintry partial 1

The bow on the left was made using the Metallic Mesh Ribbon (p. 145 of the Annual Catalog).

Slimline wintry partial 2

I also tied a ribbon around it with Black Baker's Twine.

Finally, the front layer is added to a layer of Basic Black (8 3/8" x 3 5/8"). This layer was adhered to the Fresh Freesia Card Base that is 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored on the 7 1/2" side at 3 3/4".

The sentiment was heat embossed on Basic Black Card Stock using White Embossing Powder.  The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set.
