Fond of Autumn Cards and Tea Light Card

Send some cheer with these lovely cards featuring the Fond of Autumn Bundle. Fall flowers and foliage with sweet sentiments make this bundle a go-to for Fall cards.

I love the die that makes this detailed die cut featured on this card front:

Then there's the die that cuts the large stamp into four small stamps.  I used one on the card above and two on the card below. These die cuts are from the same large image:

The large floral image is shown on the card below (yep, this is the image you can die cut into four pieces).

One Basic Fun Fold, Three Different Layouts with the Season of Chic Bundle

I want to share three different cards with you that are based on one fundamental fun fold. There are pictures for each of the cards and a PDF to download with all of the measurements. You can also watch my YouTube video for more details (link below).

One thing I love about the Season of Chic Bundle is that you can use it for all of the seasons.  The Texture Chic Specialty DSP also includes paper for all of the seasons. I'm showing a Fall, Christmas, and Summer card.

The basic fold is an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" piece of card stock scored on the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4" and 7"(pictured below).

Basic fun fold 2

For the first card, I am layering the front panels with Texture Chic Specialty DSP and also using one large piece to become the left side of the inside of the card.

One fun fold pumpkin card 2

The inside looks like this:

The second card is a gift card or cocoa pouch holder. It is created similar to the first card, but horizontally and without the large piece of DSP. Again, find the links to the PDF and video tutorial below.

The third card uses the same base for a z-fold card:

Three Fall Flower Garden Cards

When we think of Fall, we think of pumpkins, gourds and squash, but there are beautiful Fall flowers too!

I created three lovely cards with that in mind that feature Echinacea, Ranunculus and Mums (or daisies) - all beautiful flowers that are glorious in Fall array.

Fall Flower Garden Cards2

Each card features something unique and different.

On the Ranunculas card I used the Water Color Pencils and then blended the colors together with the Blending Pen.

Measurements for this card:

Early Espresso Card Base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and die cut with long Contour Scallop die on end (about 3/4" in).

Gingham Cottage DSP – 3 x 5 ½”; 1 ¾ x 5 ½”(inside)

Crumb Cake for Die Cut Scalloped Rectangle

Very Vanilla – 2 5/8 x 3 7/8 for front stamped piece; 2 ¼ x 5 ½” for inside sentiment piece.

Fall flower garden cards ranunculus2

The card below features a flower bouquet and foliage from the Harvest Dies with the Vintage Bottle Shaker Dome. I also die water colored the flowers with our Water Color Pencils and the Blending Pen.

Measurements for this card:

Basic Black Card Stock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

Gingham Cottage DSP - 5 1/4 x 4"

Scrap piece of Very Vanilla for flowers

Scrap piece of Crumb Cake for grasses

Basic White 5 1/4 x 4" for inside sentiment

Fall flower garden card nature's harvest2

The third card is my favorite. I used the Daisy Garden stamp and Gold Embossing Powder to create this card along with the Distressed Gold Paper to make the pumpkin.

Measurements:

Thick Very Vanilla - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"

Blackberry Bliss - 5 1/4 x 4"

Basic White for inside sentiment - 5 1/4 x 4"

Make a Kraft Gift Box into a Shaker Box!

Did you know Stampin' Up's Kraft Gift Boxes are in the weekly sale this week? Not only are these boxes sturdy, but they have a beautiful window in them. You can easily turn them into an even more beautiful gift box by making them a shaker gift box! I will show you how.

Here is a picture of the one I made tonight in my live:

Kraft gift box wreath shaker background2

I began by sponging the front with Soft Suede to give it a rustic look. I also did that on this one featuring the Christmas Tree dies from the Christmas Lights Bundle:

Kraft gift box tree shaker2

This is the first one I made with sponging  but no background dsp:

And this gift box has the lovely Specialty Vellum in the background.  The beautiful snowflake is die cut using the snowflake die from Twinkling Lights Dies with the Rose paper from the Gold & Rose Metallic Specialty Paper.

When you make this you need a piece of Kraft card stock that is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" and a piece of background paper that is the same size - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4".

Watch the replay of the video here:

Below is a list of the supplies that I used when I made the box in the live tonight. Click on any of them to order from my online store. Use the host code T66FDHNE at checkout with an order of $50.00 or more and I will send you a new pack of gems as a thank you from me to you!
