Gift Card Holder With Kindest Gnomes Bundles

It's so easy to make a cute gift card holder with the Kindest Gnomes Bundle.  It's part of the Storybook Gnomes Suite in the July-December Mini Catalog. Included in the Suite (page 42) is beautiful designer series paper, gems, dies, and Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. The dies can be used on some of the designer series paper, like the mushroom houses and some of the gnomes.  So much fun in one suite!

Here are the gift cards:

Aren't they adorable? Just so darn cute!

I die cut the end with one of the Basic Border Dies, but you don't need to.  You could cut it just a little shorter with the trimmer so the DSP shows.

And here's the inside:

I used the Decorative Circle Punch to punch out the spot in the center to grab out the gift card.

Measurements for this card:

5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Night of Navy Card Base

8 1/2" x 4 1/4" Balmy Blue (for small card) scored at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2"

DSP - 4 1/4" x 1" (2); and 4 1/4"  x 1 1/4"

Watch the video tutorial here to see how to make this:

Watercoloring Technique with Kindest Gnomes Stamp Set

Did you know Stampin' Up! carries a variety of watercoloring tools? One of my favorites is the set of Aquapainters. Fill these neat tools with water and you are all set to water color - well, almost!  You do need ink and water color paper, or shimmer card stock.

Tonight I painted one of the adorable gnomes from Kindest Gnomes stamp set with my Aquapainter.

Kindest gnomes cards (2)2

Yep, all you need is the aquapainter, ink, and paper.  You don't want to use regular card stock as it's not thick enough and it will pill.

Isn't this guy just adorable?

The tree rings in the background are made with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder.  Watch the replay below to see how to use this awesome folder, and of course - watercoloring technique!

Measurements for this card:

Card base - 4 1/4 x 11" scored at 5 1/2"

Layer - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" card stock or designer series paper

Layer - 4 1/2 x 3 1/4" embossed

Strip - 1 1/4 x 5 1/2"

Circle - about 3"

Kylie Bertucci's July 2022 International Blog Hop

I'm excited to share my July 2022 customer thank you cards with you during Kylie Bertucci's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop!

Kylie's International Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! I am so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support. The blog hop is part of Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today from all over the world!!

My card is a bit different than I'm used to creating.  I've used the torn paper technique on all three layers:

Bottled happiness blog hop thank you2T

The Crumb Cake card base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".

Layered on top of that is a 5 1/4 x 4" piece of Petal Pink.

And then a 5 x 3 3/4" piece of the lovely Texture Chic. The gold dots in this go well with the Distressed Gold DSP I used for the bottle. The bottle was punched using the Vintage Bottle Punch, which is part of the Bottled Happiness Bundle.

Here's a look at the inside:

Bottled happiness blog hop thank you inside2

The inside strip is 5 1/2 x 1" piece of the same Texture Chic DSP.

The inside Basic White piece is 3 x 5 1/2".

For the bottle and bouquet I've used a piece of the Hues of Happiness DSP to stamp on, stamping the bouquet on the yellow part:

Bottled happiness blog hope thank you dsp to stamp on

The flowers were stamped in Blushing Bride, and the leaves in Pear Pizazz. After stamping and adding the vase, I tore the stamped piece of DSP as shown in the first photo. When tearing paper, tear it toward you. I then tore the right hand corner of each of the layers as shown, and curled the Crumb Cake torn corner.
