Easter is right around the corner and I have a lovely paper sampler available for you to create in the comfort of your own home! I've framed mine and it is pictured below.
Easter is right around the corner and I have a lovely paper sampler available for you to create in the comfort of your own home! I've framed mine and it is pictured below.
In Monday Mystery Stamping in the Meadow tonight I made this lovely card with the retiring Free as a Bird stamp set. The designer series paper (Hand-Penned) is also retiring. And - I almost forgot - the card stock (Misty Moonlight) is retiring, the Holiday Rhinestones are retiring, and the blue and silver twine - all are also retiring!
I used one card layout for all of the cards below. Here is the one I made tonight:
Here is a card I made earlier today with retiring Sweet as a Peach stamp set and retiring You're a Peach designer series paper (which is 20% off right now while supplies last).
The card base is Crumb Cake and the sentiment card stock is Calypso Coral. I did some stamping on the Old Olive card stock.
Here is a card made with the Turtle Friends bundle (stamp set and punch). I used the retiring Pansy Petals DSP which is also 20% off while supplies last. Instead of using card stock for some of the rectangles, I used dsp for all of them:
Here are the measurements for this sketch:
5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card base
Card stock - 1 1/2 x 1 3/4"; 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"; 2 1/4 x 2 1/4"; 1 x 3 1/2"; 3/4 x 3 1/4" (sentiment).
DSP - 1 3/4 x 2 1/4"; 2 1/4 x 3 1/4"

I want to share these adorable Easter baskets with you, after all March is almost over and Easter is around the corner! I used the beautiful retired Pansy Petals DSP for these baskets.
Even the pansy petals and leaves are from the Pansy Petals DSP. I just fussy cut them from the paper and adhered them on the baskets.
This is the smallest basket:
And here is the medium one:
I wanted to make the large one from the Freesia colored gingham paper in the pack, but I had used it all up. This is the large one I made during my FB live. The paper is directional, and doesn't look as nice but it's all I had to demonstrate making the basket:
Measurements for the large basket:
12 x 12 DSP scored at 4 and 8" on each side.
1 x 12" DSP for handle
3 7/8 x 3 7/8" card stock for center base.
Measurements for the medium basket:
8 1/4 x 8 1/4" DSP scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2"
1 x 12" DSP for handle
2 5/8 x 2 5/8" card stock for center base.
Measurements for small basket:
6 x 6 DSP scored at 2 and 4"
1 x 8" DSP for handle
1 7/8 x 1 7/8" card stock for center base.
On each end of DSP cut up to the first score line on each flap. Turn the paper and do the same on the opposite end.

I love this Accordion fun fold card! I saw Sharon Armstrong (TX Stampin' Sharon) show how to make this card and thought it would be a great card to feature the beautiful Pansy Petals deisgner series paper. The retiring list comes out next week (yikes - already!), and I'm sure it'll be on it.
Here's the card I made tonight:
Don't you love the dsp? I love that it even has pansies and leaves on it that you can die cut or fussy cut to use on a card!
Here's another card with one of the Heart & Home doilies on the front. I stamped a large pansy on it and added a pearl in the center:
The dark green twine on the front is from the Fan Baker's Twine pack.
Here's what the card looks like open. The original pattern called for one 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" square for the front of the 3 x 6" hinge (or little card), but I like to cut two of the 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" dsp and add one to the back side. You can see it here:
I used DSP on the inside of that card instead of Basic White card stock. Here's the front of that card:
And here's a pic of all three cards together. Which one do you like best?
Measurements for this card:
Card base - 5 1/2 x 11" scored at 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 5 1/4, and 7"
card stock (same color as base) - 6 x 3" scored at 3"
Card stock for inside sentiment - 3 3/4 x 5 1/4"
DSP - 5 1/4 x 1 1/2" (four of these); 2 3/4 x 2 3/4" (one or two of these)
Did you know the Pansy Patch Bundle (stamps and dies) is 20 percent off right now until the end of March? The Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine is also! Get them now while they are on sale!

An experiment always adds interest - after all you never know how it's gonna turn out. After die cutting three Heart and Home Doilies with a heart shaped die I inked them up by pressing them onto the stamp pad. I really like the look it made - kind of a velvet look with lowlights and highlights.
To begin with I embossed the card front with the Stitched Greenery die to make the vine design on the front.
To ink the die cut hearts I pressed them white side down on the ink pad using a larger piece of card stock on top to press with. Here's the Granny Apple Green Card:
And here's the Garden Green Card:
I like the Granny Apple Green card better.

If you are a stamper, a versatile card sketch is a great find. If you are looking for a layout to feature designer series paper or a larged stamped picture this is one you will want to use.
I paired New Horizons designer series paper with the Beautiful Tree Dies and Horizon Dies.
And here's another picture with this layout - two cards featuring dsp and dies and one (in the middle) featuring stamping.
Here are the measurements:
Card base - 4 1/4 x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Card stock or dsp - 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"
Card stock or dsp - 1 x 3 3/4"
Card stock or dsp - 3 x 4 1/4"
I used the MIni Stampin' and Cut Emboss Machine to die cut my tree. Did you know it is 20% off right now until the end of March?
The Beauty of Friendship Bundle is also 20% off right now (incude the Beauty of Tree Dies). You can order these from my online store!

I've paired the beautiful Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper with the Whale Done stamp set and Whale Punch. And I've punched those whales from that gorgeous blue foil - yum!!
I've punched two whales from the dark blue foil and one from the aqua foil. I used one of the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels for the eye of the whale. Here's a view of one up close:
You can also see that I've stamped some of the images (sea weed and jelly fish) right on the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper.
This paper comes in an array of gorgeous colors:
I also used the beautiful foil behind the sentiment. Using the Layering Circle Dies I die cut the larger circle from the foil and the sentiment circle from Basic White card stock:
Here are the measurements for this card:
Card base - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 1 1/4 and 4 1/4"
DSP - 1 x 5 1/4 (2 of these); 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"
Inside sentiment card stock - 2 3/4 x 5 1/4"

Do you know the beautiful Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper was designed by pouring acrylic paint? This DSP is saturated with blues and greens and even some coral and yellow. It makes me want to visit the beach!
I made three different cards using this gorgeous designer series paper, and made one tonight in Monday Mystery Stamping in the Meadow.
I used the Whale Done stamp set and Whale punch for the card tonight:
I love the Blue foil whales! Here's a look at the inside one:
The Waves of Inspiration Bundle (stamp set and dies) are carrying over in the new Annual Catalog, butthe designer series paper, as well as the Blue Foils and Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels are only available while supplies last. Don't miss out on these beautiful products!

I'm starting to think about Easter - how about you? I just got the Easter Friends stamp set. The springtime chick, duck and bunny are just adorable! I picture them on baby cards, children's birthday cards, and of course spring and Easter items.
So how about a tic tac holder? Tic Tacs come in so many different colors, but I had the Fruit Adventures on hand, so I used Daffodil Delight card stock for my little holder.
The card stock is die cut so the tic tacs show through like little jelly beans! I've used my snips to cut around the little paws and then used the smallest layering circle die to die cut the circle shape.
Here is what the inside looks like. I've used Tear and Tape across the center to hold the Bumblebee Gingham ribbon, which ties and holds the little box shut.
