ADORABLE EASTER BASKET YOU CAN MAKE!

This is a very cute Easter basket you can make that doesn't take much time. I also have a neat way to use the metallic mesh ribbon to make the bunny whiskers. The basket recipe is from Julie Davison, and the bunny is my invention.  Have fun with this cute project!

YOU CAN MAKE A DOUBLE FOLD EASEL CARD

You can wow your friends and loved ones with this beautiful double fold easel card!  I've made mine for Easter, but you can change it up for a birthday, get well, or other occasion! This easel card is sturdy, and stands well on a shelf or table. And that's what's so nice about easel cards - the remembrance is so easy to see because the card is standing. In my video tutorial I also show you how to do the heat embossing on this card. Inspiration for this card is from TX Stampin' Sharon.  Here are the cards I made:

HOW TO EMBOSS WITH DIES WITH STAMPIN' CUT & EMBOSS MACHINE!

Did you know you can use your dies to emboss on card stock?  And how super cool that you can use the new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine to do it!

I've used the Brilliant Wings dies to emboss on the front of these cards and then use a sponge dauber to add color:

Butterfly wings embossing both (1)2

Butterfly wings embossing saffron2

I love the embossed image on the card stock.

To do this I've used the regular sandwhich for die cutting, but omitted the thin #2 plate.  I also added the Silicon mat under the paper to be embossed, added the top clear plate and used a piece of regular Basic White card stock on top for a shim.

Watch my video tutorial here to see how to emboss with the dies:

Paper measurements for this card:

Card base (Pool Party or So Saffron) - 4 1/4 x 11" scored at 5 1/2"

DSP (Butterfly Bijou) - 5 1/2 x 4"

Basic White card stock to emboss on - 5 1/2 x 3 1/4"

Basic White card stock for inside sentiment - 5 1/4 x 4"

Scraps of card stock for sentiment

YOU CAN MAKE A SLIMLINE POP-UP CARD!

I love pop-up cards and slimline cards, and decided to combine the two using elements from the beautiful Butterfly Bouquet (ooh - it's sooo beautiful!)  The inspiration for this card comes from a slimline card at Chatncraft with Lorraine Tierney. The pop-up mechanism is very easy to make, and you will love the results!
