HEY CHICK BARN CARD AND USING THE ADHESIVE SHEETS FOR INTRICATE DIES

Hey Chick! stamp set is back!  The adorable set that Stampin' Up! released in 2017 is back with dies!!  They will be available for purchase this week on February 2! This barn shaped card features the stamp set and some of the dies.  Those chicks just have so much personality! Being a farm girl, I can just picture them strutting around the barn yard.

Because there are several intricate dies in this set, I'm going to show you how to use the Adhesive Sheets for detailed dies.  Did you ever try to glue intricately die cut paper to a card?  It's so difficult and can be very frustrating!  But not with Adhesive Sheets.  You will love how easy they are to use! Here's the card:

SWEET LITTLE VALENTINE TREAT BOX

Do you need a special little box for that special chocolate treat (or Skittles, or Jolly Ranchers, or whatever...)? Yes, I could go on with a long list of sweets, but you get the drift! You can make this cute little box to give away to that special friend. It's not that hard, it just takes time.

Heart chocolate box single2

I've used an image from the new Valentine Keepsakes stamp set to stamp on the heart that sits on the top of the box.

The straight-edge heart punch shape layers nicely on the scalloped-edged heart punch shape (try saying that 10 times in a row).

The large scalloped-edged Layering Square Die works great to make a box top with a scalloped edge.

MAKE AN INSIDE 4-PANEL CARD

Make this cute card with me using the new Sweet Ice Cream Bundle.  It's one of the beautiful new sets in the January-June Mini Catalog, and it will be available to order beginning January 5th - Yay! (If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and would like the new catalog, let me know and I will send you one.)

I love this new bundle set.  It brings back memories of visiting Elmhurst Dairy which was just down the road from my house when I was growing up.  Back then ice cream was .50 a gallon, and popsicles were .05 cents. Yes, that was a LONG time ago ha ha.

Here's the front of two cards I made using slightly different colors:

SWEET ICE CREAM CARDS W FOLD

This is what the inside looks like with the four panels:

Isn't this paper beautiful?  I just love this bundle and the accompanying Ice Cream Corner DSP.

I also added a panel on the back in case you want to write a little more than what you can on the inside.

Purple Posey Cardstock - 11 x 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2"
