MAKE A PINWHEEL QUILT CARD!

I'm a quilter and love quilt patterns.  It's so much fun to make a card using a quilt pattern! This Pinwheel pattern is one you will want to add to your card recipes! It's easy and beautiful!  It's also a great way to use up scraps of paper!  I've made this one for Christmas, but it could be for any occasion.

Pinwheel card2

I made these cards a couple of years ago, but just saw a video tutorial on stampingwithKristina.  The sizes below are what she used.

You need to use DSP with two contrasting colors or patterns.  I've used the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.  (I love the gold foil accents in this paper.)  My card base is Pretty Peacock with a layer of Whisper White card stock. I embossed the Whisper White with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder to give some texture and dimension to the mat layer.

Measurements for paper are:

Card base - 11 x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"; Whisper White mat layer is 5 1/4 x 4"; Squares are 1 1/4" (4 each of two different patterns); large layer squares are 2 5/8" for base of small squares.

Watch my YouTube video here to see how to make this card:

Supplies to make this card are listed below.  Click on any of the supplies to order from my online store here or the link above.  Place an order of $50.00 or more using the October host code DG9VA9RG and I will send you the Gold Glitter Dots for FREE as a gift from me. If your order is over $149.00 don't use the host code so you can get the Stampin' Rewards.  I will still send you the free gift!

Thanks for stopping by!
