How to Make a Herringbone Pattern Card Using Adhesive Sheets

I just love this Herringbone pattern! It makes me feel like I've quilted on a card. I saw a tutorial by Debbie Mageed at Secret Stamper.com where she made a herringbone pattern on a card, and decided I had to try it. I decided to use one of the new Adhesive Sheets from Stampin' Up to adhere the strips of paper onto the cardstock. I loved how easy it was to use, and want to share that with you!
I used pieces of Gilded Autumn DSP that had copper of gold foil on the paper. I also used plain Gold Foil Paper and I love the elegant look it gives the cards. What a great way to use up strips of paper!
Here's another card created using the Ornate Garden DSP:
The strips of paper are cut at varying widths - 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and then placed on the card in 4 different distinct sections.
