Slimline Card With Zany Zebra Stamp Set

Don't you just love those cute zebras? They just look like they could get into a lot of mischief! Slimline cards are popular right now, and I just pictured these fun four-legged creatures running across the front of a loooong card.

The sentiments are from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set. Love the large font in this set! The Rainbow Glimmer Paper tops it all off! Here's the inside:

Here's how the fun begins:

PAPER: Granny Apple Green for card base, 9 1/4 x 8", scored on the 8" side at 4"; Bermuda Bay, 9 x 3 3/4" for mat on front; Whisper White 8 3/4 x 3 1/2" for front; 9 x 3 3/4" for inside of card; scrap pieces for zebras; Rainbow Glimmer Paper for balloons.

STAMPS: Happiest of Birthdays and Zany Zebras

INK: Memento Black; Bumblebee; Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends

TOOLS: Balloon Punch; Dimenstionals, liquid glue; Snips; Paper Trimmer; Detailed Trio Punch; Mini glue dots

EMBELLISHMENTS: White Baker's Twine; Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon

DIRECTIONS:

Stamp Zebras with Memento Black ink, and fussy cut out. Highlight stripes with Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends. Stamp large sentiment on Whisper White front piece. Randomly stamp stars (from Zebra stamp set) with Bumblebee ink on Whisper White front piece.

Punch two holes on left end of Whisper White Front piece with Detailed-Trio Punch. Pull 8" piece of ruched ribbon through. Form 6 loops and tie down to card with 8" piece of ruched ribbon. Add glue to center to keep loops secure.

Adhere Zebras on card front with dimensionals. Stamp party hats.

Punch out balloons and glue to front. Add ties from White Baker's Twine with glue dots.

Glue front Whisper White piece to Bermuda Bay layer, and then adhere this to card base.

For inside Whisper White piece, stamp zebras, stars, and sentiment.

Adhere to inside. This card will fit in a large #10 envelope.

Thick Whisper White Card stock, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4"

Whisper White card stock, 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 for inside of small card; 5 x 3 3/4 for inside of large card; scraps for daisy blossoms.

Old Olive card stock, 5 1/4 x 4 for mat for inside of large card; 2 3/4 x 8" scored at 4" for small card.

Ornate Garden DSP, 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 (two of these) for small card; 5 1/4 x 4 for front of large card.

Easel Card With Zany Zebra!

Oh how cute! This is a birthday card, but it could easily be a baby card! You are sure to brighten someone's day with this cute easel card! On top of that, it's so easy to make! Watch my video tutorial to see how.

Here's what you need to make this adorable card:

Paper: Magnificent Magenta for base, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"'; Magnificent Magenta DSP (dots), 1 1/4 x 4 (two of these); 2 3/8 x 2 (two of these); Whisper White card stock for inside, 5 1/4 x 4"; scrap of Whisper White for small oval sentiment cut with Stitched Shapes Dies; scrap of Whisper White for Zebra; Scrap of Basic Black for 2" circle and small oval cut with Stitched Oval Dies; Scrap of Magnificent Magenta for circle die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies.
