EXPLOSION CARD TUTORIAL

I love to try out new card designs and this is one I really love!  It will be so much fun to give to a friend to open and "explode!"

Credit goes to Dawn Griffith at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts for the inspiration for this card, for which she has a video tutorial.  

This one below is a small explosion card and it will fit into a medium size Stampin' Up! envelope:

Now isn't that fun? And so much fun to give!!

Here's How the Beauty Begins:

PAPER:

4 x 8" piece of Bumble Bee card stock, scored at 2" and 6"; 4 x 8" piece of Ornate Garden DSP, 4 x 8" scored at 2" and 6"; 2 pieces of Ornate Garden DSP (for front sides), 1 7/8 x 3 7/8"; 1 piece of Whisper White card stock for inside sentiment, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2"; 1 piece of Terracotta card stock for inside mat, 2 5/8 x 2 5/8"; 1 x 9" Whisper White card stock for belly band; scrap Whisper White  card stock for punched tag on front.

STAMPS: Many Mates

INK: Memento Black

TOOLS: Paper Trimmer; Glue dots, Multipurpose liquid glue; Dimensionals; Tear and Tape; Snips; Story Label Punch

EMBELLISHMENTS: Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack; Artistry Blooms Sequins
