Funfold Card With Peaceful Poppies Suite
01/15/2020
This card was so much fun to make, and so EASY!! I CASED it from Connie Stewart on Simply Simple Stamping.com. She made a beautiful valentine card. Today's card is a birthday card using elements from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.
Here's what you need to make this card:
PAPER:
Thick Whisper White card stock for card base - 5 1/2 x 11. Score at 1 1/4, 5 1/2, and 9 1/4"; 1 1/4 x 10" for belly band; scrap piece for poppy on front;
Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper - 1 piece for inside of card, 5 1/4 x 4"; 1 piece for larger flap on end, 1 1/2 x 5 1/4"; pieces for smaller flaps, 1 x 5 1/4 " (two of these). Piece for belly band, 1 x 9"; scrap piece of black card stock for poppy center.
Scrap piece of Basic Black
Scrap piece of Old Olive
INK: Highland Heather and Momento Black
TOOLS: multipurpose glue; Paper cutter; Die cutting machine, Poppy Moments Dies
EMBELLISHMENTS: Gingham Gala Sequins; Wink of Stella
DIRECTIONS:
Score the card base. Adhere DSP to inside, 1 piece on the wider end flap, and 2 pieces (one on each side) of the smaller flap.
Fold Whisper White belly band piece around card to get the size and glue end. Add DSP over this. Poppy on front of card will cover the seam.
Die cut design from lower right front of card.
Stamp poppy, color with ink, or Stampin' Blend. Die cut poppy.
Die cut leaf. Glue to belly band, and glue poppy on top.
Stamp sentiment on upper front of card. Stamp sentiment on inside.
Add sequins on front. Add ink of Stella to poppy.
Enjoy!
I will also be adding a video showing how to make this card.
