Beautiful Poinsettia Card With Tasteful Backgrounds Dies

So simple, and yet so pretty!  Using one of the dies in the Tasteful Backgrounds die set makes this card look like a pot of poinsettias!

Here is the card:

Poinsettia with tasteful backgrounds die 2

The Tasteful Backgrounds dies are pictured below.  As you can tell, I've used the one on the upper right of the picture.

I used the Tailored Tag punch to create the pot the poinsettias are in by cutting it in half.

Here are the supplies:

5 1/2 X 8 1/2" Shaded Spruce cardstock scored at 4 1/4",Shaded Spruce piece for behind die-cut Whisper White Piece. Scrap of Whisper White cardstock for die-cut flowers, scrap of Whisper White Cardstock for sentiment on front; 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White cardstock for inside of card; 5 1/4 x 4" piece of Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper; small piece of Gold foil for pot.

Stamp set:

Still Scenes for sentiments

Ink: Shaded Spruce

Embellishments: Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Bakers Twine, Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots

Directions: Adhere Wrapped in Plaid DSP piece to front of cardstock base.

Die cut Tasteful Background die on Whisper White cardstock.  Using largest Stitched Shapes Oval die, die cut around the Tasteful Backgrounds piece.  )One or two of the leaves on the side may hang over the edge a little.)  Also die cut the oval Shaded Spruce piece and layer behind the Whisper White poinsettia piece.  Add Red Rhinestones for center of flowers.

Punch out the flower pot using Gold Foil and the Tuxedo Punch.  Cut the punched piece in half to look like a pot.

Layer this onto the Oval Flower piece and adhere.  Add a bow at the top of the pot.

Pop up the Oval flower piece on the front of the card with dimensionals.

Die cut the rectangular piece for the sentiment.  Stamp sentiment and add green Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.  Adhere to bottom of card.

Stamp sentiment on the inside Whisper White piece and adhere to inside of card.
