Easy Card With Let it Ride!

Easel Card With Merry Moose Stamp Set

I just love the Merry Moose stamp set and Moose punch!  I CASED this easel card from Ronda Wade at  Becreative.com.  It is not only cute, but easy to make!

Merry Moose all three2

I've used DSP from three different paper collections.  From the Toile Christmas:

Merry Moose 1

From the Gather Together DSP:

Merry Moose 22

From Let it Snow DSP:

Merry Moose 33

Here's what you need to make this card:

5 1/2 X 8 1/2" cardstock for card base, scored at 4 1/4"

5 1/4 x 4" Whisper White card stock for inside sentiment

Scrap pieces of Crumb Cake for the moose and the Pretty Label Punch Tag. Scrap piece of Whisper White for the 2" punch.

Designer Series Paper - 2 pieces 1 1/4 x 4" and 2 pieces 2 x 2 3/8"

Merry Moose stamp set

Soft Suede and Mint Macaron or Shaded Spruce for trees, Cherry Cobbler

Moose punch, 2" punch, Pretty Label Punch, Paper trimmer, snail adhesive or liquid multipurpose glue, dimensionals.

Happiness Blooms enamel dots

Score card base at 4 1/4". Line up card base at 1 1/2" on 5 1/2" end and cut up to the 4 1/4" score mark in the middle of the card base.  Flip to other side and do the same - line base up at 1 1/2" mark and cut up to 4 1/4" score mark in the middle of the card.  You will have three flaps on one side of the card - one large flap in the middle and two smaller flaps on each side.

Line the middle flap up on the 2 1/8" mark and score.  This is to create the easel.

Adhere DSP pieces to flaps.

Stamp sentiment on inside sentiment piece and adhere to card base.

Glue down the two thin outside flaps.

Stamp two trees on the 2" circle punch with Shaded Spruce or Mint Macaron.  Stamp the star with Crushed Curry.  Stamp the Moose in Soft Suede and punch him out.  Stamp the scarf on Cherry Cobbler paper with Cherry Cobbler ink.  Fussy cut the scarf.  Glue to the moose.  Adhere the moose to the 2" white circle with dimensionals.  Glue onto the front part of the middle flap.

Stamp the sentiment for the front tag and punch out with the Pretty Label Punch. Adhere to the card base with dimensionals.
